| Vanessa J. Gorden
Vanessa practices in the areas of civil litigation, personal injury, professional licensing, family law, juvenile law, and criminal law. She has been licensed in Nebraska since 2006 and in South Dakota since 2005. Vanessa is a member of the 2008-2009 class of the Nebraska State Bar Association Leadership Academy. She was also included in the 2007-2008 edition of Cambridge Who's Who Among Executive and Professional Women.
Vanessa is a member of Southwood Lutheran Church and enjoys theatre, poetry, and travel.

Vanessa J. Gorden attended the University of South Dakota for college, graduate school, and law school. She earned her B.S. in English, cum laude, in 2002; her M.A. in 2005; and her J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2005. She is a member of the Thomas Sterling Honor Society, the highest honor bestowed upon the top 10% of students in each USD Law graduating class. While in law school, Vanessa earned CALI awards in the classes of Property and Jurisprudence and actively participated in the R.D. Hurd Pro Bono Society.
